Experience a magical night under a sky filled with stars in a tranquil forest setting. This stargazing event offers the chance to observe autumn and winter constellations—including the Pleiades—at Uchiurayama Prefectural Forest, Chiba's oldest prefectural forest recreation spot. Surrounded by 294 hectares of lush nature and featuring log cabins and walking trails, the venue welcomes all ages. Co-hosted with the Kimitsu Astronomy Club, this is a perfect opportunity to explore the wonders of the night sky. Date and Time: Saturday, November 28, 2026, 6:00–8:30 PM (come and go anytime during the event; held rain or shine). Capacity: 80 people (children must be accompanied by an adult). Registration: Open until the event day; same-day signups are welcome. Fee: 200 yen per person (tax included). Bring: Individual Number Card (My Number Card; can substitute for health insurance card). Clothing: Comfortable, warm clothing. Telescopes are allowed but instruction will not be provided; those bringing telescopes may set up from 5:00 PM. In case of rain, astronomy talks and discussions will be held indoors.
