This exhibition showcases works by Kawanabe Kyosai, a distinguished artist active from the late Edo to early Meiji periods, drawn from the collection of UK-based collector Israel Goldman. Approximately 110 pieces—including renowned prints and rare paintings, with more than half making their debut in Japan—are featured from one of the world's top Kyosai collections. Visitors can enjoy Kyosai's humorous caricatures, lively animal paintings, and imaginative depictions of supernatural creatures, offering a diverse glimpse into the artist's creative universe.
