This exhibition offers clear explanations about the fascinating lives and changes among mammals, birds, and other creatures living in the satoyama—Japan’s traditional rural landscapes. Both adults and children can enjoy learning about the diversity of wildlife through engaging displays, while also considering how humans and wild animals might build better relationships in the future.
