This exhibition celebrates the 80th anniversary of the beloved children's classic, Thomas the Tank Engine. Explore the origins of the series with rare materials such as handwritten manuscripts and sketches by the original author, Reverend Awdry, alongside models, character faces used in filming, animation illustrations, and concept videos. For the first time in Japan, original illustrations from the 27th, 28th, and 35th volumes of 'The Railway Series' will be showcased. The play area features digital activities including projection mapping, photo spots, and a diorama of Sodor Island, allowing families to immerse themselves in the world of Thomas.
