Seiji Seta, a celebrated children's author and translator, lived in Saitama Prefecture for nearly 30 years. Known for his Japanese translations of works such as 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' and 'The Lord of the Rings' by J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as original creations like 'Dad’s Trumpet Stories' and 'What Day Is It Today?', Seta made significant contributions to children's literature. On the occasion of his 110th birthday, this exhibition reviews his diverse achievements and delves into the enduring appeal of his works that have captivated generations of children.
