Yumeji Takehisa, a leading painter of the Taisho Romantic era, brought lyrical beauty not only to his paintings but also to poetry and music. This concert features songs based on Takehisa’s poems and works adorned with his distinctive artwork, alongside music by Schubert—who created numerous masterpieces devoted to song—and Liszt, who elevated the art of song through his piano compositions. Enjoy a richly woven world where poetry and melody transcend time and place. *Children below school age are not admitted.
