Working across the Meiji\, Taisho and Showa periods\, Suzuki continued painting until the age of 93. The artist's cheerful\, free-flowing style\, familiar even from confectionery packaging\, has remained beloved for generations. Filled with warmth\, joy and optimism\, the paintings continue to delight viewers today.\n\nCelebrated for luminous\, expressive color and often described as a master colorist\, Suzuki created a vivid pictorial world unlike any other.
