From September 14 to November 30, 2026, the Lounge & Bar 'Marine Blue' on the 2nd floor of the Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel will offer a seasonal 'Shine Muscat Grape and Pear Afternoon Tea.' This special tea highlights Shine Muscat grapes—a popular autumn fruit—and pears at their peak. The top tier of the stand features treats made with refreshing Shine Muscat grapes, such as glass desserts, mousse, and a unique daifuku mochi with a whole grape inside. The second tier centers around pear-based sweets, including shortcake with fresh pear, a panna cotta with pear compote and caramel, and a Mont Blanc tart with cassis jelly. Savory bites include pumpkin and mascarpone mousse, jerk chicken tortilla rolls with sour cream, and warm quiche with salmon and white maitake mushrooms. Chestnut paste is incorporated into the scones, accented by rum and vanilla. Guests can choose from 25 varieties of tea and coffee to enjoy alongside the autumnal spread. After 5:30 pm on weekdays, a premium plan (limited to 10 sets per day) adds a 'Grape Parfait' featuring Shine Muscat and Kyoho grapes, complemented by red wine jelly, for an enhanced tasting experience. Enjoy an elegant autumn afternoon tea with seasonal fruits and ingredients while taking in views of the Yokohama waterfront. Price: 8,200 yen (includes one glass of sparkling wine with Shine Muscat grapes and unlimited drinks) or 7,000 yen (with unlimited drinks). Premium plan (weekdays from 5:30 pm): 10,000 yen.
