The Shimozuma Chrysanthemum Festival is held every year on the grounds of Daiho Hachiman Shrine. Members of the Shimozuma Chrysanthemum Society carefully cultivate and display their prized chrysanthemums, which fill the venue with vibrant colors. A highlight is the special themed flower beds, where multiple chrysanthemum varieties are arranged to create impressive displays such as Mount Fuji or a floral clock. Society members are present from 9am to 4pm to assist visitors and sell chrysanthemums. In the evening, the gardens are illuminated, offering a different atmosphere from the daytime.
