Violinist Sayaka Shoji, who has performed with some of the world’s leading orchestras and artists and is a member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra, will appear with her 1729 Stradivarius violin (“Recamier”). She is joined by Masato Suzuki, principal conductor of Bach Collegium Japan, on harpsichord. The program features Baroque violin music composed by Italian contemporaries of J.S. Bach.
