Explore the historic merchant district of Sahara and view prized collections housed in local shops as part of the Sahara Townwide Museum event. During the New Year season, participating stores and other locations will feature original festive decorations to welcome visitors. On Saturday, January 9, enjoy a celebratory lion dance parade near Chukei Bridge (weather permitting) and two performances of traditional Sahara festival music at the Sahara Town Exchange Center (11:00am and 2:00pm), bringing New Year cheer to the entire town.
