This open class features a workshop and performance of Tsukuda Puppet Theater, a local performing art with a history of around 300 years. Its puppet stage and 38 puppet heads are the first to be designated as Important Tangible Folk Cultural Properties of Gunma Prefecture. The performance will be 'Ehon Taikoki, Act 10: Amagasaki Scene.' Subtitles in both English and Japanese are provided, making it easy for anyone to enjoy this traditional culture. Admission is free, but reservations are required (registration closes when capacity is reached).
