At Musashi Kyuryo National Government Park, spanning an area equivalent to about 65 Tokyo Domes, autumn flowers reach their peak. In 2026, approximately 250,000 'Feather Celosia' will be planted in the West Entrance Flower Field, coloring the landscape with vibrant shades of red, yellow, pink, and more. These long, fluffy flower spikes are best viewed from mid-September to mid-October, with the peak blooming around the end of September. Also new for 2026 is the 'Roman Red' Salvia, with about 8,000 plants creating a vivid carpet of deep red in the Sports Plaza Flower Field. After the initial blooming period from late July to late August, the flowers are pruned in early September and come into bloom again from late September to early November. From September 19 (Sat) to 22 (Holiday), the 'botanica picnico' open-air market will also be held at the Sports Plaza, featuring workshops and gourmet food.
