SUMMARY:New "Artists Today" Exhibition 2026: Sightlines to Saturn's Rings
DESCRIPTION:Since 2016\, the Yokohama Civic Art Gallery has presented the New “Artists Today”Exhibition\, which carries on the spirit of the “Artists Today” Exhibition (1964–2006)\, a pioneering initiative in contemporary Japanese art\, and exhibits the art of our own moment. The 2026 edition\, with the theme of "Sightlines to Saturn’s Rings"\, brings together three innovative young artists. Sareena Sattapon creates video installations that employ special filters to render isolation and inequality visible\, eliciting reflection on the individual\, the other\, and social ties. Taiki Yokote works in sculpture and video to uncover narratives embedded in easily overlooked things such as dust and debris.
