SUMMARY:More Than My Feeling
DESCRIPTION:This is the artist's fifth solo exhibition in Japan. Beginning in the 1990s in New York\, the artist created abstract paintings by collaging everyday materials such as towels\, bed sheets\, noodles\, found paper\, markers\, and tape onto flat surfaces. The artist is known for works in which zeros and circles emerge\, created by recycling personal exhibition flyers and leaflets found around the city. The new works in this exhibition are painted on canvas\, with overlapping colors inspired by scenes from daily life\, using improvisational techniques reminiscent of jazz.\n\nhttps://www.galleryside2.net
