In autumn, Mihama Garden is adorned with the brilliant reds and yellows of Japanese maple and winged spindle trees, creating a stunning garden landscape. Traditional 'yukitsuri'—a technique from snowy regions like Hokuriku to protect trees from heavy snowfall—is also on display from mid-October, giving the garden a wintry atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy Japanese sweets and matcha tea in an authentic tea house (set for 900 yen, tax included) while viewing the autumn leaves, or try feeding the koi carp (100 yen per bag, tax included), another popular activity.
