DESCRIPTION:Hideharu Fukasaku Gallery Roppongi presents a solo exhibition by printmaker En Kitajima\, formerly known as Yusuke Kitajima. Opening in August 2026\, this exhibition marks the artist’s first solo exhibition under the new name.\n\nKitajima creates works through an original technique combining woodblock printing and monotype\, known as woodblock monotype. As the word “mono” suggests\, each work is a one-of-a-kind expression\, created through a unique and unrepeatable process.\n\nThe artist primarily depicts animals and auspicious motifs\, capturing their charm\, strength\, fragility and hidden shadows with a playful yet attentive approach.
