SUMMARY:Keiichi Baba Exhibition: 'Alchemy of Wounds – Aesthetic\, Psychological\, and AI Perspectives on Mythic Worlds'
DESCRIPTION:Keiichi Baba\, recipient of both the Toshiko Okamoto Award and the Audience Award at the 29th TARO Award\, presents his first solo exhibition since winning. Featuring new and recent works\, Baba explores a worldview shaped by his experiences with depression and views on life and death\, depicting myths through motifs of the self\, skulls\, and goddesses. The exhibition traces his unique creative process—drawing\, destruction\, reconstruction\, and resin encapsulation—examining how wounds are transformed into luminous forms. Themes are considered from aesthetic\, psychological\, and AI-related perspectives. Special events include talks and symposiums with leading scholars\, creating a space where artwork\, artist\, viewers\, and AI converge.\n\nhttps://www.gallabotokyo.com/exhibitions/04-alchemy/
