At editor’s fav Rurubu Kitchen in Shinjuku Sanchome, a special limited-time event called 'All-Kanagawa Lunch Restaurant' will be held from November 2 (Mon) to November 29 (Sun), 2026. The event features menus created with ingredients from the 'Kanagawa’s Top 100 Specialties'—a selection of the region’s most treasured local products. The lineup changes between the first half (Nov 2–15) and the second half (Nov 16–29) of the event. In the first half, dishes include Atsugi-style pork miso set meal (1,480 yen) and “salmon and salmon roe rice bowl” using brand eggs from Aikawa (1,680 yen). In the second half, enjoy dishes like stir-fried Kiyokawa Emisui pork with specialty kimchi (1,480 yen) and fried baby sweetfish from Sagami River with medicinal herb salt (1,680 yen). Many of these set meals come with Oyama simmered butterbur as a traditional side. The interior will also feature displays and goods themed on Kanagawa’s specialty products, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a Kanagawa getaway. Stop by during lunch (11:00–14:00, last order 13:30) for a unique taste of Kanagawa without leaving the city. Closed irregularly.
