Join a Buddhist monk on a pilgrimage to seven temples in Kamakura, reciting the Heart Sutra and collecting temple seals at each stop. This guided tour, known as the Kamakura Thirteen Buddhas Pilgrimage, invites you to bring your temple stamp book and visit compassionate, gentle, and wrathful Buddhas to pray for the removal of past and present sins, a favorable rebirth, and to honor the departed. The pilgrimage includes visits to Jochiji, Zenkyoin, Ennoji, Joko Myoji, Kaizoji, Jojuin, and Gokurakuji. Advance registration required.
