Take part in a fun net fishing event open to everyone, from adults to children (adults-only groups are also welcome)! You can take home some of the caught fish via a raffle, depending on the day’s catch.

Date & Time: Saturday, November 21, 2026
Reception: 10:15–10:45 AM
Location: Sandy beach in front of the Miura Beach Seven-Eleven (look for tents on the beach)

Participation Fees (incl. insurance, cash only):
- High school students & adults: 2,000 yen
- Elementary & middle school students: 1,000 yen
- Children below school age: free
* Children under middle school age must be accompanied by an adult. Registration closes when capacity is reached.

Registration: Apply via the Google form by November 16. Phone applications are not accepted.

Capacity: Minimum 40, maximum 100 high school age and above. Event will be canceled if the minimum is not met.

What to Bring: Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting wet, sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves, towel, change of clothes, bags, and (if joining the raffle) a container for fish such as a cooler box. Some gloves will be available in limited supply on-site.

Raffle: Held after net fishing to distribute the catch. May not be held if the catch is too small.

In case of cancellation (due to low signup, bad weather, or high waves), notice will be sent by email and posted on the tourism board website by the day before. Sudden weather changes may lead to last-minute cancellation.

10:45 Opening remarks, instructions, lining up
11:00 Net fishing starts
Around 11:30 End of net fishing and raffle for the catch
