DESCRIPTION:This collection exhibition presents solo displays dedicated to Isamu Wakabayashi and Mayumi Terada\, featuring works primarily from the Nerima Art Museum Collection.\n\nIsamu Wakabayashi "Run and Rest"\nIsamu Wakabayashi (1936–2003) was one of Japan's most influential contemporary sculptors\, acclaimed both in Japan and internationally. Working primarily with iron\, Wakabayashi explored themes of nature\, time and space through abstract forms. In 2024\, the museum received a major donation of 70 works\, including the sculpture Run and Rest (1996)\, the print GRASS (1993) and a series of drawings.
