SUMMARY:IGES-JISE Environmental Learning Biomimicry Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Biomimicry is the practice of drawing inspiration from the shapes and mechanisms of living organisms to apply in manufacturing. In this event\, participants will closely examine actual plant seeds and fruits that have wings or blades. They will observe how these seeds glide when dropped from a height outdoors\, and engage in making and testing models inspired by the fruit dispersal structures of the linden tree to explore the mysteries of plant shapes. Target audience: children (elementary school and older) and their guardians.\n\nhttps://www.iges.or.jp/jp/events/20261123
