SUMMARY:Hanahata Oowashi Shrine Tori-no-Ichi Festival
DESCRIPTION:The traditional Tori-no-Ichi festival is held every November at Hanahata Oowashi Shrine in Adachi\, Tokyo. Visitors pray for prosperous business\, good fortune\, and family safety\, filling the shrine grounds with lively energy. On the first Tori day\, Saturday\, November 7\, and the second Tori day\, Thursday\, November 19\, lucky bamboo rakes called kumade are sold at stalls to gather good luck. Along with prayers\, visitors receive a 'Kakkome' talisman adorned with amulets and rice ears. This long-standing local event offers a chance to experience a uniquely Japanese festival atmosphere while wishing for good fortune in the new year.\n\nhttp://ootori-jinja.or.jp/index.html
