Chief conductor Ken Takaseki leads the orchestra. The first half features pianist Keigo Mukawa, third prize winner at the 2021 Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition and second prize winner at the 2019 Long-Thibaud-Crespin Competition, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3—a masterpiece known for its technical brilliance and deep lyricism. The second half presents Dvořák's Symphony No. 8, filled with bright, rich melodies and colors that evoke the nature and folk vitality of Bohemia. There will be a pre-concert talk by Maestro Takaseki starting at 13:05.
