DESCRIPTION:Hagiso in Tokyo's Yanaka district will host an exhibition by five graduate students in Western architectural history at the University of Tokyo. The exhibition asks a simple question: How can architecture become a way of seeing the world?\n\nRather than presenting finished research\, the exhibition turns its attention to what comes before it. Through photographs and sculptural works\, the five participants share what catches their eye\, the questions that spark their curiosity and the ways they make sense of architecture and the city. These individual perspectives are the starting point of their research.\n\nArchitectural history may seem like a specialized field\, removed from everyday life.
