This event features a limited tasting distribution of 2,500 servings of "Whale Mince Bolognese," made using whale mince developed as a school lunch ingredient by Italian master chef Masayuki Okuda and Tokyo's chief nutrition teacher Tomomi Nijuusaku. There will also be a stage event with fish storyteller Hayatake, appointed by the Fisheries Agency director, and a word rally to find hidden fish names within the venue. The festival offers a variety of workshops and food activities for families to enjoy the sea and fish.
