Join the "Explore Ancient Trees and Satomi History: Digital Stamp Rally to Tateyama Castle!" as you visit historical, natural, and sightseeing spots across Tateyama City. Collect digital stamps with the SpotTour app at 14 locations, including JR Tateyama Station, Tateyama Sunset Pier, Nagisa no Eki Tateyama, city-designated natural monuments like the Numa Juniper and the Jiin-in Lopsided Ginkgo, and culminating at Tateyama Castle. Complete all 14 stops to receive a commemorative Tateyama Castle stamp. Event period: July 18, 2026 - March 31, 2027. Starting at JR Tateyama Station, the course takes 3–4 hours on foot or 2–3 hours by bicycle or car (rental bikes available at the station). Stroll along coastal spots, visit two historical sites, then head to Shiroyama Park for several more checkpoints and finally reach the castle tower. Note: The final spot, Tateyama Castle, requires an admission fee but grants access to special historical exhibitions and panoramic views. Upon completion, present your proof at the castle entrance to receive your commemorative stamp. Museum and castle are closed on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday).
