SUMMARY:Everything But The Kitchen Sink
DESCRIPTION:Our exhibition\, titled "Everything but the kitchen sink\," explores the connection between food and our lives. We look at the memories kept in our bodies through eating\, the movements and rhythms of the body at the table\, and how the experience of eating brings people and spaces into harmony.\n\nWe are STROMA\, an art collective featuring Nanami Tomita\, Neiho Kuzutani\, Takumi Tachibana\, and Mana Hashimoto. Our group name comes from a biological term for the structural network that supports our tissues and organs. As a team\, we explore the connection between our bodies\, spaces\, and food\, rethinking the everyday things we usually take for granted.\n\nRight next to Gallery KYOK is Kappabashi Dougu Street (Kappabashi Kitchen Town)\, a unique street filled with shops for cooking and dining tools. We hope walking between our gallery and the lively streets of Kappabashi will give you a fresh\, fun look...
