Visitors pray to be guided toward a fortunate year\, inspired by the white swan associated with the shrine’s legend. Starting at midnight on January 1\, complimentary sacred sake\, longevity ginkgo nuts\, sweet rice wine\, and lucky coins will be given to early visitors. During the first three days of the year\, the grand mikoshi (portable shrine) will be displayed.
