DESCRIPTION:To promote understanding of dementia\, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is holding a Dementia Symposium in conjunction with Dementia Day on September 21. The event features a discussion between Harry Sugiyama\, who cared for his father with dementia for many years\, and Tsuyoshi Okamura\, Head of Research at the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology. There will also be a roundtable and networking session with the Tokyo Dementia Hope Ambassadors\, offering attendees the chance to hear firsthand experiences from those living with dementia and their families.
