Sengataki Waterfall is located at the far end of the scenic Shosenkyo Gorge, one of Yamanashi Prefecture's top natural attractions, upstream on the Arakawa River in the Fuji River system. Situated at the base of Kakuen Peak, the symbol of Shosenkyo, this magnificent 30-meter waterfall was formed by tectonic activity and flows through an area rich in natural beauty, carving its way down granite cliffs. It attracts many visitors year-round, not just during the vibrant autumn foliage season.
