This year's English-guided hiking tour explores mysterious ruins and historic sites in the hills north of Oiso Station, including an ascent to Shonan-daira (180m elevation). The route covers the Ojozan Cave Tombs, Kamaguchi Kofun, Quarry Cave Tombs, Yokokuji Cave Tombs, lunch at Shonan-daira, Zenbei Pond, Myodaiji Temple, and ends back at Oiso Station. The hike is about 5 km and takes approximately 4.5 hours, with steep sections, recommended for those in good physical condition. Please wear clothes that can get dirty, hiking shoes, and gloves. Bring your own lunch and drinks. Sign up through the Guide Association website. Limited to 30 participants; first-come, first-served (application deadline: November 7). Canceled in case of rain the day before or on the day of the event.
