DESCRIPTION:The Doburoku Festival is a celebration of bountiful harvests that began in the early Heian period to commemorate the founding of Aonuma Kasuga Shrine\, which was established as a branch of Nara's Kasuga Shrine. Each year\, the local community brews doburoku (unrefined sake) with freshly harvested rice and serves it to visitors on November 23.
