This festival honors Lord Akimoto, a samurai who was granted the Soja domain in 1601 for his achievements at the Battle of Sekigahara and was beloved by locals for contributions such as developing irrigation canals. A parade of armored warriors, reminiscent of the Warring States period, marches through the Soja area. At the Soja Community Center, the festival also features a market with local and regional food, as well as stage events, including a large picture-story show inspired by Tengu Iwa irrigation.
