The 33rd performance by the Iwata Early Music Society and Iwata Baroque Choir. Handel's 'Messiah' is a beloved Baroque oratorio depicting the birth, passion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, featuring beautiful, ornate arias reminiscent of Italian Baroque opera and dramatic choral pieces such as the famous 'Hallelujah Chorus.' This masterpiece delivers a moving musical experience and is widely considered Handel's greatest work.
