The Chichibu Wine Fair is a collaboration between the Chichibu Onsen Matsuri-no-Yu, located in front of Seibu-Chichibu Station, and three local wineries. The event features 17 wines from these wineries, including event-exclusive and pre-release selections. Visitors can enjoy 12 types of paid tastings, red and white wine comparison sets, and special food pairings recommended by the wineries. There will also be ice cream and wine affogato made with juice from wine grapes grown locally. Additionally, guests can soak in a ‘wine bath’ at the outdoor hot spring. On Saturday, October 10, a one-day-only event called the 'Chichibu Sake Brewery Festival 2026' will be held, bringing together nine sake breweries and others, where visitors can taste a variety of drinks, including sake, wine, craft beer, whisky, and mead, alongside local foods.
