From autumn to early winter, the trees in the mountains and parks of Atsugi turn vibrant colors. Visitors can enjoy autumn foliage viewing among brilliant red maples and dazzling yellow ginkgo trees. The eastern slope of Sakura Hill offers the most stunning scenery, especially around the Ogi Plaza area, where the maples turn a deep red. The large ginkgo tree at Minna-no Hiroba drops its leaves all at once in December, covering the ground with a breathtaking yellow carpet.
