Tozenji Temple, boasting the largest temple grounds in northwest Chiba Prefecture, is a renowned Jodo sect temple with a history spanning 540 years. In the early Edo period, Tokugawa Ieyasu designated it as one of the Kanto region's eighteen principal temples. The temple houses numerous cultural treasures, including a portrait of Tokugawa Ieyasu and a letter from Mitsukuni Tokugawa. Each autumn, visitors come to enjoy its picturesque fall foliage.
