This area, serving as the gateway to Oku-Oi, features numerous scenic spots for enjoying autumn leaves, including suspension bridges, tunnels, and railway bridges along the Oi River. The surroundings also offer many sightseeing destinations such as shrines, temples, and commercial facilities, making it an ideal and easily accessible location for autumn leaf viewing from the city. Note: Due to damage from Typhoon No. 15 in September 2022, bus services are temporarily replacing trains between Ieyama and Senzu on the Oigawa Main Line.
