Take a 30-minute stroll starting from the Information Center, crossing the Norogawa Bridge and looping around the area. If you take your time to admire the ancient trees and the forest floor, it takes about two hours. As a major base for mountain trekking, you'll see many hikers with large backpacks, but you can fully enjoy the scenery even without climbing. In 2026, private vehicles are not allowed until November 3 due to seasonal traffic restrictions, and the area is closed for winter afterwards. Private cars are not permitted year-round. The period when the general public can view the autumn foliage is very short, so don’t miss this precious opportunity.
