DESCRIPTION:Tonogayato Garden is a strolling-style landscape garden that makes excellent use of a valley formed by the Kokubunji cliff line. The garden’s design features a dramatic shift in atmosphere\, from the bright lawn on the cliff top\, through bamboo groves\, down to a natural spring pond and wooded areas below. Around 200 Japanese maple trees display brilliant autumn colors from mid-November to early December. The view of the autumn leaves and pond from the Momijitei teahouse is especially stunning.
