SUMMARY:Autumn Foliage at Omiya Park
DESCRIPTION:Located in Omiya Ward\, Saitama City\, Omiya Park is the oldest prefectural park in the area\, having opened in 1885 under the name Hikawa Park. Adjacent to the historic Hikawa Shrine and recognized as one of Japan’s top 100 urban parks\, this park is renowned for its vibrant autumn colors. From late November to early December\, trees such as Japanese maple\, ginkgo\, dawn redwood\, sawtooth oak\, and cherry transform the park with brilliant red and yellow leaves. Even the cherry tree-lined paths\, typically popular in spring\, come alive with autumn hues. Admission is free\, and the park also features a small zoo and a children's playground\, making it a great spot for families.\n\nhttps://www.pref.saitama.lg.jp/omiya-park/
