Spread across an area about 65 times the size of Tokyo Dome, Musashi Kyuryo National Government Park offers beautiful autumn foliage throughout its vast grounds. The Maple Garden, featuring around 500 maple trees of about 20 different varieties, is especially popular and reaches its peak in late November. From November 14 (Saturday) to 29 (Sunday), 2026, the "Momiji Night" event will take place in the Central Gate area from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Visitors can enjoy illuminated light and sound shows set against a castle backdrop, along with a stroll through the Maple Garden. There is also a shuttle bus service (for a fee) connecting Shinrin-Koen Station and the Central Gate. Please note that the event may be canceled or postponed due to weather conditions.
