SUMMARY:Autumn Foliage at Mukojima Hyakkaen Garden
DESCRIPTION:This botanical garden was established during the Bunka and Bunsei eras (1804–1830)\, a flourishing time for Edo's popular culture\, by a curio dealer from Sendai named Kikuya Sahara. Unlike the grand feudal gardens like Koishikawa Korakuen or Rikugien\, it was created by leading figures of the era and features a more familiar\, common touch\, with flowers blooming throughout the seasons. In autumn\, the garden's maples and ginkgo trees turn brilliant colors. Designated as a national place of scenic beauty and historic site in 1978\, the garden glows with the changing hues of wax trees\, cherries\, ginkgo\, and maple as autumn deepens.\n\nhttps://www.tokyo-park.or.jp/park/mukojima-hyakkaen/
