Mount Saburo rises from the center of the Kasama Basin in Ibaraki Prefecture and is a haven for nature lovers, home to hundreds of plant species. The 182-meter mountain features a four-kilometer hiking trail leading to the summit, where the historic ruins of Kasama Castle—once regarded as one of Japan’s notable castles—can be found.
