Mount Mizugaki in Yamanashi Prefecture is a granite peak formed from black mica, surrounded by a harmonious blend of coniferous forests, white birches, and vibrant autumn leaves, creating a uniquely beautiful landscape. The Motodani River originates from Mount Kinpu, runs through the Masutomi Radium Hot Spring Gorge from east to west, and flows into Mizugaki Lake (Shiokawa Dam), offering fantastic autumn colors along the way. After trekking, you can relax at a hot spring inn along the river.
