DESCRIPTION:Mount Haruna is one of the three famous mountains of Gunma Prefecture\, alongside Mount Akagi and Mount Myogi. At the summit\, you’ll find the caldera lake\, Lake Haruna\, and Haruna-Fuji\, a volcanic cone within the caldera. In autumn\, the entire mountain is adorned with vibrant foliage\, including maples\, Japanese sumac\, larches\, and cherry trees. The view from the top of Haruna-Fuji is especially spectacular and can be reached via hiking trails or by ropeway.
