Mashiko Forest covers about 31 hectares of gently rolling hills and is home to red pines, konara oaks, chestnuts, wild cherry trees, and more. The area features a roughly 4-kilometer walking trail, a lawn area, suspension bridge, observation tower, and playground equipment. From mid-October, the maple and oak trees begin to change color, with the best viewing period lasting until late November.
