SUMMARY:Autumn Foliage at Kiyosato Highlands
DESCRIPTION:Beginning in early October\, the birch forests turn a brilliant yellow almost overnight\, followed in mid-October by the peak of the Japanese maple leaves. The breathtaking landscape is a mosaic of red\, yellow\, and evergreen trees. In November\, the larch and white birch trees glow gold\, adding to the display. The diversity of broadleaf and coniferous trees creates a stunning variety of colors. Several events are scheduled for 2026\, including the Yatsugatake Highlands Long Ride on October 4\, the Yatsugatake Traverse Road & Trail Running Race on October 11\, the Paul Rusch Festival—Yatsugatake Country Fair on October 17-18\, Country Festa in Moeginomura on October 24-25\, as well as the Yatsugatake Highlands Half Marathon and Kiyosato Nonstan Festival on October 25.\n\nhttps://kiyosato.gr.jp/
